"Crystal Ball, Olympic Gala" - Committee Chairs AnnouncedSave
the date...the 15th annual "Crystal Ball, Olympic Gala" will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Rochester. Event co-chairs are Cindee Gray, RIT and Tony DiCesare, Bank of America. Auction Co-chairs are Lori Ramsperger, Tom McDonough and Cathy Smith. The event is the largest fundraiser, for Special Olympics New York Genesee Region. Last year's event raised $109,000 and was attended by 625 people. Committee members began meeting and planning for the event. First on their assignment list is to contact past sponsors and patrons, to identify a theme and to select the keynote for the event. According to co-chairs DiCesare and Gray, "we are very excited to begin the planning process with some great new committee members and some returning committee members some of whom have that 15 year history.For more information on patron or event sponsorship contact the office at mturner@nyso.org or call (585) 586-7400 x 104.
