Over two hundred athletes from twelve training clubs enjoyed the awesome pool and facilities at the Webster Aquatics Center on March 19, 2005 for the Special Olympics Genesee Region Aquatics competition.
Regional Director Dave McEneany thanked Sue Hemingway and Mary Ann Pierce Co-Directors of the Webster Community Partnership for graciously providing this world class facility for our athletes. Adolph Dupree Life Time Assistance Coach and Special Olympics Athlete presented Sue with a Plaque and expressed thanks on behalf of all our athletes. Jessica Miriam of the Special Olympics Webster Training Club joined Adolph reciting the Special Olympics Athlete Oath in the opening ceremony.
