Registrations due!! Golf and Softball
Coaches,
There are a few outstanding registrations from training clubs that participated last year in ALL THREE golf events and also regional softball. We need the registrations by this Friday to process the athletes in the system and prepare for the events. Please fax to the office at 585-586-7065 by Friday, the 15th at 3pm. Thank you for your help! We hope to have your athletes at these events.

Volunteer Appreciation Picnic

Due to lack of demand we have decided to make change to this year’s volunteer dinner.
We would like to invite you to attend our Volunteer Barbecue and Picnic that will follow our Regional Softball Event on August 23rd at Cobbs Hill. Meal Tickets are free for all Volunteers and Athletes and we would love to have you in attendance. The picnic will begin at approximately 1:30pm as the Softball event concludes and will run until approximately 4pm. We will be acknowledging many of our key volunteers at this picnic and we would love for you to join us.
Please note that all Coaches and Athletes that are participating in the Regional Softball event will be included in the count automatically unless otherwise stated.
Please fill out the form attached and fax or e-mail it to the office no later than August 8th. We have to confirm the food order with our caterer on the 8th and we need to have an idea of how many people will be attending. We will not have sufficient food for people that register after this date.

A quick note on progressing to state games:
Our calendar has been designed to give athletes more opportunity to compete. In August you will see that there are a number of local and regional competitions. Teams and Athletes must attend the events that are offered if they wish to go to state games. For example, Softball Teams should attend the Regional Softball event at Cobbs Hill and the Upstate Fall Classic. Similarly, athletes wishing to participate in golf must attend one of the three golf events held between August 24th- 28th and the Regional Golf Event on September 27th. Please note that we will check to ensure that athletes going to states have completed these prerequisites:

Soccer – Super Regional (September 20th)
Bocce – Super Regional (September 13th)
Golf – Local (Aug 24th-Aug 28th) Regional (September 27th)

Fall Games EMTs needed
We are looking for volunteer EMTs to help with venue support for Fall Games October 3-5, 2008. There are flexible times available and many different opportunities to help out. If you have any questions regarding the possibility of volunteering please contact Dave Burgess at 315-697-2074.
It’s Roster Time Again!!
Please be aware that we are using a NEW roster form! Please try to use this form going forward!
The fall season is almost upon us and coaches are required to submit Rosters to the Genesee Office by August 22nd. Attached is the “NEW” form that you need to fill out for your athletes in your training club. This form is a little different in that we are now asking for sport training information for the whole season, even if your athletes DO NOT compete at events in specific sports.
